Indigenous Studio started as a collaboration between Leane Fernandes and Ryan Isted, simply as a means to work on creative projects outside their professional realms.
As time went on more and more clients started taking note. These passion projects have now become their full time jobs and lives.
These creative projects range from graphic design, architecture, photography, interior design, industrial design, TV commercials, documentaries to viral films.
Leane Fernandes
Studied architecture and interior design, after qualifying has worked on some remarkable projects. She now consults on numerous projects while perusing her other passion of social and environmental sustainability within architecture and urban design.
Ryan Isted
Studied fine arts, photography and graphic design, after qualifying he found himself drawn into the world of advertising. After working under some of the top directors locally and internationally he started directing.
Ryan was commissioned in June this year to film a TV ad in memory of all the young heroes and heroines of the Anti-Apartheid Struggle who laid down their lives for freedom, peace and democracy on June 16 1976 in the Soweto Youth Uprising. https://vimeo.com/224436041
